MediNotes to Showcase New Beta Inventory Module at TEPR 2008
MediNotes Vice President Jack Callahan to Speak on the Next Generation of Healthcare

LAUDERDALE, FL, May 18, 2008 - MediNotes Corporation, a market leader in electronic health records (EHRs) with more than 23,000 users nationwide, will unveil its new award-nominated supply chain management (SCM) software, MediNotes Clinician SCM (referred to as ¡§SideWinder¡¨ in TEPR literature), on Sunday, May 18 at 10:00 a.m. E.S.T. at the Towards the Electronic Patient Record (TEPR) Awards finalists presentations. MediNotes Clinician SCM is being considered for the award among six other ¡§Hot Product¡¨ nominees. The winner will be announced at the TEPR Opening Session on Monday afternoon, May 19.

Jack Callahan, MediNotes vice president of corporate development, will discuss future trends in healthcare information technology (HIT) during TEPR¡¦s session entitled ¡§The Next Generation of Medical Technology¡¨ (Tuesday, May 20 at 10:30 a.m. E.S.T.). MediNotes e users, John Cauthon, D.P.M., John R. Scibal, O.D. and Ric Smith will participate in the session to offer their unique perspectives on EHR implementation. Dr. Cauthon is the owner of Foot and Ankle Clinics of Tennessee in Murfreesboro, Tenn., Dr. Scibal is the founder of Carteret Vision Center in Morehead City, N.C. and Smith is the director of operations at New York Heart Center in Syracuse.
Callahan¡¦s presentation focuses on the future of HIT in the ambulatory setting. He will outline current concerns surrounding perceived EHR security vulnerability, the political issues and national initiatives that might impact the HIT environment, and the need for physicians to embrace technology and encourage its adoption.
