ArtFire's Sticky Cart: Changing the way Sellers Track their Inventory
New ArtFire feature allows sellers to monitor most popular items

TUCSON, AZ, May 21, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Created from artisan feedback, ArtFire has recently enabled a new feature to allow artisan sellers to better manage their handcrafted items. Sticky Cart works by temporarily removing any items added to a shopper's cart from the seller's storefront. This way, shoppers are unable to purchase items one-of-a-kind items that are currently in another seller's cart which reduces confusion and buyer frustration common to handmade venues without this feature.

In addition to helping avoid unnecessary stress, Sticky Cart also works as a way for sellers to track their popular items. Sellers can see which items are making it into carts, and even if the shopper doesn't complete checkout, sellers will be able to determine which items in their inventory are being added into carts most often, so that they can better manage their items. In this way sticky cart is yet another management tool for handmade sellers to gauge popularity, interest and progress towards sales goals.

Sticky cart is completely optional and can be turned on and off with a single click to meet the handmade artisan sellers needs. Like many of the revolutionary features on Artfire.com Sticky Cart was created via the customer driven interaction of Community Directed Development.
