ITS Academy of Beauty Students Provide Mini Manicures To Volunteers
Fort Worth cosmetology students are not only lending a hand at an upcoming community project, they are beautifying the hands of their fellow volunteers.

FORT WORTH, TX, May 09, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fort Worth cosmetology students are not only lending a hand at an upcoming community project, they are beautifying the hands of their fellow volunteers.
Students from ITS Academy of Beauty will be providing free mini manicures for the volunteers of the Get Together & Give project from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, May 7 at Macy's Court in Ridgmar Mall. The volunteers will be preparing personal care kits for women at the Presbyterian Night Shelter of Tarrant County.
An estimated 90,000 gifts will be assembled throughout the U.S. for this event. ITS Academy of Beauty's corporate office donated 824 gift bags containing Peter Hantz Products to contribute to the event.
"Helping others is a major part of what we do in the cosmetology field," said Cathy Young, director of the ITS Academy of Beauty in Fort Worth. "Whether it's a community project like Get Together & Give, or something on a professional level, such as helping a patron look and feel their best, we want to reach out and do what we can. Helping others is always a beautiful thing."
ITS Academy of Beauty recently moved into a new location in Ridgmar Mall with more than 10,000 square feet of modern, air-conditioned space. The school offers an upscale clinic where students perform services under the supervision of a licensed cosmetology instructor.
