Scottsdale's Art Source for Design announces Art Auction Fundraising Event to benefit local non-profit organization LifeUnfolded.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ, July 11, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Art Source for Design is proud to announce the date of a fundraising art auction to benefit LifeUnfolded, a local non profit organization dedicated to to providing an artistic outlet for foster children to enable them to discover their talents and use those talents to succeed in life. The event will be held at ASFD's new Scottsdale showroom located at 15816 N. Greenway-Hayden Loop, Suite 400, Scottsdale on Saturday, August 15, 2009.

More than 200 pieces of work from renowned local, regional and national talent will be showcased including work by Los Angeles artist Derek David, whose work is in collections of Justin Timberlake, Charlie Sheen and other celebrities. Featured local artists include Joel Holsinger, Marian Crane, and Adam Hand. Local artist "Mr. 43" (JBSnyder) will be painting live during the event and his completed artwork will be up for auction before the end of the evening. Bidding for each piece will open at well below market value for all artwork with bidding starting as low as $30 on some items.

The evening begins at 7:00 with the silent auction and socializing over cocktails and refreshments, while enjoying live music.The live auction starts at 8:00pm. This event is free and open to the public. All are encouraged to attend.
