Comedy Spot Comedy Club enters seventh year of Stand-Up Comedy Classes
The Comedy Spot Comedy Club in Scottsdale offers on-going stand-up comedy classes.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ, October 28, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Comedy Spot Comedy Club in Old Town Scottsdale, just celebrated its 7th year of Stand-Up Comedy Classes, and continues to provide Arizona comedy hopefuls their BEST opportunity at Stand-Up success. In addition to being in the comedy classes, the students will have the chance to perform in their very own showcase show, where they can show off their new found skills. "Not only do they get to learn in a professional comedy environment, they are learning and performing at the ONLY comedy club in Arizona, that teaches Stand-Up Comedy."

So you've watched Last Comic Standing or Comedy Central and thought, "I can do that." Well, get off your can and get in class! Every comedian starts somewhere - you can start TODAY! Early registration is open and class space is limited.

About the Instructor
Dee Ann Kinkade has been teaching Stand-Up Comedy at the Comedy Spot Comedy Club for 7 years now. She has also been teaching for several Valley Community Colleges as well as privately for over nine years. She is an accomplished screenwriter and cable TV producer for E! Entertainment Television.

Dee Ann Kinkade, who has performed live stand-up at The Comedy Store, Rascals Comedy Club, and more, will take you step by step through developing and performing your own original material. Good for every level performer. From novice to expert!

YOU WILL NOT FIND A MORE EXPERIENCED, PATIENT TEACHER IN THE VALLEY. Learn the art of creating visual one-liners, doing impressions, using props, even how to deal with hecklers. This course may be repeated several times for continued development of your comedic talent. Enrollment is limited; early registration is strongly recommended.

One on One with the "Pro's"
Each month, at the Comedy Spot Comedy Club stand-up classes, we feature a guest speaker. These are the real working pro's that not only headline at The Comedy Spot, but work around the country and the world performing stand-up comedy! They bring their years of experience to the table so our students can not only learn from their successes, but also their failures. They take the time to answer any questions the new or advanced comic can think of, and we are very proud to be able to make this a very exciting part of our curriculum.
