Kinetico Water Empowers Arizona Residents to Take Control of Their Water Quality
Kinetico offers free water testing in light of recent concerns over tap water quality.

CHANDLER, AZ, March 28, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In light of the negative attention on many municipalities failing to meet federal water treatment standards, Kinetico dealers including Kinetico Quality Water in the Phoenix area are working to help residents better understand the quality of their tap water.

Recent reports found that more than 20 percent of the municipal water treatment systems in the United States have violated the Safe Drinking Water Act in the last five years. The analysis also shows as many as 49 million people have been exposed to water that had higher concentrations of regulated chemicals, bacteria and radioactive substances than are deemed safe by the Environmental Protection Agency.

"Water quality has been a hot-button issue lately," said Mike Mattox, General Manager with Kinetico Quality Water. "With the recent information shared in the news, it's no doubt residents are questioning the safety of their drinking water. The best thing to do if a resident is concerned about their water is to get it tested."

Kinetico Quality Water is able to test a resident's water and assist them with any issues or concerns. They will do a complimentary basic home water test that determines water's pH value, the presence of total dissolved solids, hardness and chlorine. They also have the ability to take samples for a more in-depth water analysis by a third-party laboratory.
