1on1 Boxing Fitness Fighter Loses Fight, Gains New Title
1on1 Boxing Fitness fighter Analisa Lopez lost her amateur debut in an outmatched fight but showed great heart that earned her a fight name.
MESA, AZ, April 28, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Analisa Lopez, 1on1 Boxing Fitness's first female boxer, lost her debut bout this past Saturday at Fights for a Cause The Chavez Boxing Foundation Amateur Boxing Event in Phoenix in an overmatched bout against an opponent 15 months her senior.
"She was just overwhelmed by the girl; when the bell rang, the girl was all over Analisa," said 1on1 Boxing Fitness Owner and Lopez's trainer Christopher Terry. "The girl was more experienced and three inches taller; Analisa was just outmatched"
Despite having the odds stacked against her, Analisa kept trying and didn't give up. The event's hundreds of attendees recognized her heart and cheered her on with favor.

Chaparrita, which means the little one in Spanish; that will be her fight name from now on, Analisa La Chaparrita Lopez."
The three-round bout was stopped in the middle of the first round. Despite the loss, Terry said he was impressed with Lopez's performance, determination and perseverance.
"Analisa worked hard for this and gave it her best shot, while it didn't turn out the way we hoped, we understand that you cannot achieve success without failure," said Terry. "The good news is she is already talking about getting back in the gym."
Analisa will be taking it slow for the next month, working on different aspects of training. After that, she hopes to spare larger girls to become better accustomed to competing against older and taller fighters. Terry said since there is a shortage of female boxers in Arizona, Analisa and the 1on1 Boxing Fitness team may also travel to some out of state events.
