CPAexcel's New IQEX Study Program Will Help International Accountants Pass the CPA Reciprocity Exam!
CPAs and Chartered Accountants from Austrailia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and Mexico Can NOW Get the Help They Need to Pass the CPA Reciprocity Exam!

SEDONA, AZ, June 04, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Efficient Learning Systems, Inc., the parent company of CPAexcel, announces the best in class IQEX CPA Exam Review Course for 2010.

CPAexcel's study program is designed specifically to meet the needs of internationally licensed Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and Chartered Accountants from specific nations who are studying for IQEX ("eye kex"), the International Uniform Certified Public Accountant Qualification Examination. CPAexcel's IQEX course focuses on what accountants need to know to pass this exam, not the entire accounting encyclopedia of knowledge.

The exam is offered every fall at Prometric centers in the U.S and Canada.

The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) offers the IQEX Exam. The 150 multiple choice questions cover all aspects of U.S. business law, professional standards, and U.S. taxation codes—a subset of the entire U.S. CPA Exam. While the IQEX Exam takes 4.5 hours to complete, the entire CPA Exam takes 14 hours.

To qualify for IQEX, an international accountant needs to be licensed as a:

CPA in Australia
Chartered Accountant in Australia
Chartered Accountant in Canada
Chartered Accountant in Ireland
Chartered Accountant in New Zealand
Mexican Contadoro Publicos or Contadora Publicas (IMCP).

Of these, many Canadian and Australian Chartered Accountants can meet the work experience and education requirements of the 54 U.S. jurisdictions without additional college courses or work experience.

IQEX is designed to evaluate an accountant's professional competence as delineated by the U.S. International Qualifications Appraisal Board. The board will evaluate the applicant's education, examination scores, and experience to determine if the applicant meets requirements which are substantially equivalent to United States CPAs.

There is a proviso: the accountant needs to hold their certification in the nation from which they graduated college. Therefore, a CA in New Zealand who graduated from University of Auckland in New Zealand is qualified to sit for IQEX.

Conversely, if an Australian CA holds a degree from India OR if a Welsh Chartered Accountant became a Canadian CA through reciprocity, that person is not qualified for IQEX. In either case, the accountant can still apply through one of the 54 U.S. jurisdictions, pass the CPA Exam, and become a CPA.
