Sanderson Volvo of Phoenix Sponsors Phoenix Cooks, Benefitting Phoenix Children's Hospital
Sanderson Volvo is sponsoring Phoenix Cooks, a Labor Day Weekend event benefitting Phoenix Children's Hospital.

PHOENIX AZ, August 28, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sanderson Volvo is co-sponsoring the 2011 Phoenix Cooks this Labor Day Weekend. Phoenix Cooks will take place at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa on Saturday, September 3, and benefits Phoenix Children's Hospital.

Phoenix Cooks will offer attendees many activities, including classes, stage demonstrations, samplings wines, beers, and spirits, and mingling with local chefs from some of the hottest Valley restaurants. A charity raffle will also take place, with 100 percent of proceeds benefitting Phoenix Children's Hospital. The PC Squared dinner series will take place on the three Saturdays leading up to the main event. Each Saturday, participating restaurants will offer great deals and specialty menu items to benefit Phoenix Children's.

Over 50 celebrated Phoenix chefs will attend Phoenix Cooks and share their knowledge with other participants in 30 minute classes. The classes will be interactive and intimate, with just 25 guests in each. A Latte Art Competition will also take place, where 32 baristas will go head-to-head to create the most original patterns in the latte's foam. The second annual competition will be bracket-style, with each barista having only five minutes to create their work of art. A Brew Bar will also be in place this year showcasing local Arizona Coffee Roasters.
